Monday October 16th, 2017 13:45 How to stop the flood of election junk mail?

reduce-junk-mail-political-partiesAnywhere on Earth, whether it is a Federal, Local Council, Presidential or State election, your mailbox will groan under the weight of materials aimed at winning your vote. It may be the electronic era, but it seems that a pamphlet in your letterbox is still considered the most effective way of getting a message across.

While an informed electorate is important for the democratic process, there appears to be a glut of over-sending of junk mail for political purposes – and no clear way on how to solve this. What’s worse, the content of most of the political flyers is simply mudslinging about their opponents with little to no intellectual substance. Is anyone else reminded of children in the playground?

How can you help stop this unnecessary waste of paper? Imagine the strain on our environment and the large volume of greenhouse gases generated from all the trees cut down, printing, electricity and transport of the materials. Grab a cup of tea or your water bottle and let’s get down to it.

We know in Australia that material deemed to be political, educational, religious and charitable is exempt from “No Junk Mail” signed letterboxes according to standards developed by the Australian Catalogue Association. So there is no way to stop it being dumped in your postbox along with the other junk mail catalogues enticing you to buy all sorts of things you don’t really need. It is probably the same in other countries.

Step 1. Incorrectly addressed political mail
A lot of of your mail may be addressed to past occupants of the house. You need to “return this to sender” with the note “no longer at this address”.

Step 2. Contact every political party or politician that is mailing you
There is no central database so you will need to call the office of each individual sender and ask to be removed from their mailing list. Remember to be nice! You catch more bees with honey than vinegar.

Step 3. National Standard to stop political junk mail
Write a letter to the Electoral Commission asking them to implement a National Standard to curb the volume of pieces each political party is allowed to put in each household’s letterbox.

    Step 4. Polling day
Don’t forget to recycle any materials you are given on the day – often the Greens Party has a box at the booths for such materials on polling day!

This has also led to the establishment of improved health facilities thus subjecting residents to great life. The people in Townsville also have an opportunity to sample some of the best sea delicacies due the presence of a major water body nearby.

The water body offers an appropriate environment to undertake sporting activities such as water skating, boat riding and sand bathing in the summer weather.

      Maximum Safety
Due the revenue generated by the development of real estate Townsville, the local authorities have put in place proper security measures in place by providing metropolitan police. They carry out regular patrols around the estates thus assuring dwellers of a great life free from security threats. The roads to the estates are also well lit at night courtesy of the local authorities’ security policy.

Sunday October 15th, 2017 13:36 New Personal Property Securities Act – Is your business affected?

Legislation labelled the Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA) came into effect in Australia on 30 January 2012, and may have an impact on many Australian businesses.

The difficulty in easily explaining this area of law and the many types of securities that are affected, mean many Australian businesses are not aware of the impact of the legislation. In particular, businesses that have for many years employed a tried and tested way of securing interests in certain personal property could find their system no longer provides adequate protection of their interests.

Previously your business may have relied on what were variously called Romalpa Clauses or Retention of Title Clauses. If that is so you are certainly likely to be affected by the new Act, and must ensure you understand how the new Personal Property Securities Register works, so as to protect your interests.

Businesses that may be impacted include those:

      – Involved in selling goods on credit and who have priorly relied on “Retention of Title” clauses
      – Financiers seeking clarification of the true assets, security and debt position of a client
      – Businesses that lease plant and equipment, vehicles or virtually any other assets
      – Companies that provide goods on consignment
      – Business owners that are seeking to refinance and need to provide certainty of title in assets

      Why do we need it?
While many businesses and advisors were accustomed to the system as it was, it was recognised that the previous mix of inconsistent and old-fashioned state-by-state securities arrangements combined with the Corporations Act rules for companies and other Federal rules were inefficient and would work much more effectively for all parties if they were brought under a single unified approach. The result is a detailed, and hopefully all-encompassing, code which draws on the systems that are in place in countries such as New Zealand and Canada.

PPSA and its operational Register will cover both individuals and companies. It’s based on the idea that it is in the best interests of anyone dealing with a company or an individual, who may extend credit to that individual or company, to enable them to gain an accurate picture of whether apparent assets are actually owned by that individual or company or only have a registered interest over them.

      What should I do?
There are a wide variety of legal and non-legal items available on the web which will help you to gain a better picture of whether your business is likely to be affected by the new arrangements. Businesses located in North Queensland, particularly Mackay, should seek advice from a trusted local legal advisor who has experience in commercial and business property matters.

This article is not legal advice and must not be relied on relation to any specific legal situation you may have. You should ALWAYS seek the advice of a qualified lawyer before taking any action in relation to your personal or business legal situation.

Looking for mackay solicitors, lawyers mackay or solicitors mackay ? Need advice about PPSA? Kelly Legal has built a formidable and experienced team of Mackay and Brisbane based lawyers who now offer a range of legal services throughout Queensland in all areas of law.

Sunday October 15th, 2017 01:34 Concrete Cutting and Core Drilling Brisbane

DIY vs Hiring a Concrete Cutting Service – including a Step by Step Guide

There is a vast variety of concrete saws and equipment that can be hired to do that pesky DIY project that you have always wanted to get done. But when should you hire a professional and when should you just give it a crack? To do your concrete cutting or core drilling job properly and on budget you will need: the right equipment, the right type – wet or dry, the right protection for yourself and the environment, the right skills and the right value for money. There is lots to consider, but if you read on and follow this step by step guide we can explore this in a little more detail.

Step 1.Choose the right equipment: For gener slab cutting Brisbane you will need a Floor Saw or Kwik Cut Saw (Hand Saw). This process is used when reasonably level and flat surfaces have to be cut and includes cutting through reinforced concrete, precast concrete, and other structural materials.

These surfaces include floors, roofs, bridge decks and suspended slabs. The surfaces are usually cut to provide expansion joints, to make openings for ducts, elevators, stairwells, machine pads, trenching and for demolition purposes.

For wall sawing Brisbane you will need a Kwik Cut Saw (Hand Saw) or Ring Saw. This process is used for the cutting of openings in vertical surfaces and surfaces with slopes so great that floor saws cannot be used.

These surfaces are usually cut to provide for doors, windows, vaults, silos, chests, foundations, ducts or large diameter pipes, or to remove part or all of existing walls. For core drilling Brisbane through a floor or wall you will need a core drill. Core drills can usually drill holes from 25mm dia – 660mm dia. This process is used for the drilling of circular holes in reinforced concrete, precast concrete, asphalt, brick, cinderblock and other structural materials. Usually the holes are made for electrical, plumbing, heating, sewer and sprinkler installations. Other applications include holes to anchor bolts or lifting rods, to place explosive charges, to install load carrying devices, or for analysis of the structure of the rock.

Step 2. Wet or Dry cutting? I don’t mean to scare you here, but cutting concrete can be very messy. You can probably figure out that the dry cutting means cutting without water and should be less messy… hmm not so sure. Cutting without water means dust and lots of it. Very messy, minute particles of concrete will billow into a thick cloud of grey concrete dust or red brick dust and coat everything nearby you own. Personally I prefer the wet cutting machines. Even though the mess is wet grey or red slurry, it is much easier to clean up all the mess with a wetvac (wet and dry vacuum cleaner) and a wipe over with a damp cloth. Dust on the other hand can get absolutely everywhere.

Step 3. Protect yourself and the environment. Basic safety equipment you will need include goggles, ear plugs, safety boots/steel capped gumboots and gloves. If you have chosen a dry cutting machine you will also need to work with a dust mask on to protect your lungs, and sun protection and long sleeves if you are working outside.

Cutting concrete can be very noisy so be mindful of neighbors and nearby businesses in case of noise pollution and air pollution. Think about what is below you if you are cutting on a floor higher than ground floor. Sadly I have heard of some terrible injuries because of falling cores and no safety barriers. Protect the environment with plastic sheeting, extraction fans and a wet/dry vacuum cleaner. In many countries, letting waste such as concrete slurry go down the drain is against the law and you will be fined.

Step 4. Check if you have the right skills. There are many dangers associated with concrete cutting equipment. Even though this equipment can be readily hired, this equipment should only be operated by experienced personnel. You won’t need to google ‘saw injuries’ to imagine the dangers of operating such powerful equipment without the right know how and strength.

Step 5. Check out the cost. Believe it or not the cost to hire a skilled professional who has all the equipment needed and can get the job done with minimal fuss, is often not much more than hiring the equipment yourself. Aside from the safety risk, mistakes in concrete are expensive if you get it wrong. Before you go ahead with the hire, at least get an idea of price from a professional by obtaining a quote.

For example you may be surprised to know that at elliottandfyfe.com.au you can hire a Brisbane concrete cutting operator to do a basic job for about $150.00. That’s hardly more than the cost of hiring the concrete cutting equipment, and comes with a skilled operator to do the hard work. Might just be worth the call?

Tuesday October 10th, 2017 13:08 Prince Charles – The Prince of Wales

Charles Philip Arthur George, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was born at Buckingham Palace on 14th November 1948. A proclamation was posted on the Palace railings just before midnight, announcing that Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth had given birth to a son. On 15th December, he was christened at Buckingham Palace, by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Geoffrey Fisher.

The Prince’s mother was proclaimed Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 25, when her father, King George VI, died aged 56 on 6th February 1952. On the Queen’s accession to the throne, Prince Charles – as the Sovereign’s eldest son – became Heir Apparent, at the age of three. The Prince, as Heir to The Throne, took on the traditional titles of: The Duke of Cornwall under a charter of King Edward III in 1337; and, in the Scottish peerage, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Baron Renfrew, Lord of the Isles, and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland. The Prince was four at his mother’s Coronation, in Westminster Abbey on 2nd June 1953. Many of those who watched the Coronation will have memories of him seated between his widowed grandmother, henceforth known as Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and his aunt, Princess Margaret.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh agreed that the Prince would go to school rather than be tutored privately at the Palace, and so the Prince started at Hill House School in West London on 7th November 1956. After 10 months, the young Prince became a boarder at Cheam School, a preparatory school in Berkshire. In 1958 while The Prince was at Cheam, The Queen created him The Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester. The Prince was nine-years-old.

In April 1962 Prince Charles began his first term at Gordonstoun, a school near Elgin in Eastern Scotland which The Duke of Edinburgh had attended. He also spent two terms in 1966 as an exchange student at Timbertop, a remote outpost of the Geelong Church of England Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. Upon his return to Gordonstoun for his last year, the Prince of Wales was appointed school guardian (head boy). The Prince, who had already passed six O Levels, also took A Levels and was awarded a grade B in history and a C in French, together with a distinction in an optional special history paper in July 1967. The Prince went to Cambridge University in 1967 to read archaeology and anthropology at Trinity College. He made a change to history for the second part of his degree, and in 1970 was awarded a 2:2 degree.

He was invested as Prince of Wales by The Queen on 1st July 1969 in a colourful ceremony at Caernarfon Castle. Before the investiture the Prince had spent a term at the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth, to learn to speak Welsh. On 11th February 1970, Prince Charles took his seat in the House of Lords.

At his own request, Prince Charles had received flying instruction from the RAF during his second year at Cambridge. On 8th March 1971, the Prince flew himself to the Royal Air Force (RAF) Cranwell in Lincolnshire, to train as a jet pilot. In September 1971 after the passing out parade at Cranwell, the Prince started a naval career, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and both of his great-grandfathers. The six-week course at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, was followed by service on the guided missile destroyer HMS Norfolk and two frigates. The Prince qualified as a helicopter pilot in 1974 before joining 845 Naval Air Squadron, which operated from the Commando carrier HMS Hermes. On 9th February 1976, The Prince took command of the coastal minehunter HMS Bronington for his final nine months in the Navy.

On 29th July 1981, The Prince of Wales married Lady Diana Spencer in St Paul’s Cathedral, who became HRH The Princess of Wales. Diana was born on 1st July 1961, at Park House on the Queen’s estate at Sandringham, Norfolk. She lived there until the death in 1975 of her grandfather, the 7th Earl, when the family moved to live at the Spencer family seat at Althorp House in Northamptonshire. Lady Diana’s father, then Viscount Althorp and later the eighth Earl Spencer, had been an equerry to both George VI and the then Queen. Diana’s maternal grandmother, Ruth, Lady Fermoy, was a close friend and lady-in-waiting to The Queen Mother.

The Prince and Princess of Wales had two sons: Prince William, born on 21st June 1982; and Prince Harry, born on 15th September 1984. From the time of their marriage, the Prince and Princess of Wales went on overseas tours and carried out many engagements together in the UK. However, on 9th December 1992, the Prime Minister, John Major, announced to the House of Commons that the Prince and Princess of Wales were to separate. The marriage was dissolved on 28th August, 1996, but the Princess was still regarded as a member of the Royal Family. She continued to live at Kensington Palace and to enthusiastically carry out her benificent work for a number of charities.

When Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31st August 1997, The Prince of Wales went to Paris with her two sisters to bring her body back to London. On the day of the funeral, Prince Charles accompanied their sons, aged 15 and 12 at the time, as they walked behind her coffin from The Mall to Westminster Abbey. With them were The Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess’s brother, Earl Spencer. Prince Charles requested that the media respect his sons’ privacy, and to allow them to lead a normal school life. In the following years, Princes William and Harry, who are second and third in line to the throne, accompanied their father on only a few official engagements in the UK and abroad.

On 9th April 2005, the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker-Bowles were married in a civil ceremony at the Guildhall, Windsor. After the wedding, Camilla became known as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were joined by around 800 guests at a Service of Prayer and Dedication at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. The Service was followed by a reception at Windsor Castle hosted by Her Majesty The Queen. It is intended that the Duchess of Cornwall will have the title HRH The Princess Consort if Prince Charles accedes to the throne.

The Duchess supports the Prince in his work. Through the years, Charles has developed a wide range of interests which are today reflected in ‘The Prince’s Charities’, a group of 20 not-for-profit organisations of which he is President. Eighteen of the 20 charities were begun personally by the Prince. The group is the largest multi-cause charitable enterprise in the UK, raising over £130 million annually. The organisations are active across a broad range of areas including opportunity and enterprise, education, health, architecture, and responsible business and the natural environment. These interests are also reflected in the list of more than 400 organisations of which Prince Charles has since become Patron or President of.

Tuesday October 3rd, 2017 12:30 Things To Consider When Hiring A Spit Roast

If you are an avid party thrower and you want that extra special somematter to add that element of glam to your party, spit roast hire is a great idea. Spits come in different sizes and relying on the number of men and women at your party and the amount of space you have at your disposal, you can roast a couple of chickens or even a whole pig or goat. When thinking of spit roast hire there are several easy ways to procure what you need through the yellow pages and the internet. Having said that, before you go in for spit roast hire, there are some important things you must take into consideration.

Do It by yourself v/s catering.
For a lot of people, do it oneself options are much better because they can save on lots of money. Setting up a spit and truly cooking on it can be a time consuming and cumbersome task. When it will come to spit roast hire, there are businesses which will let you simply hire the spit roast and do everything on your own, or give you a fully loaded bundle in which everything from setting up, cleaning up and helping is done by a team of professional caterers. So depending on whether you have enough time or not you can decide if you want to do it all yourself or pay someone else to do it for you.

          Gas Spit v/s Charcoal Spit
When thinking of spit roast hire, you must first decide what kind of a spit you will need. There are spits that work on charcoal and those that work on gas. Weigh the pros and cons of each type and decide which one you want. The good matter about charcoal spits is the fact that the meat you cook on it will retain the scrumptious smoke a cigarettey flavor of the charcoal. Gas spits will not permit for that. Even so, charcoal spits are untidy, they create a lot of smoke and can be dangerous if not attended to. Gas spits are cleaner, make less of a mess and don’t create as much smoke a cigarette. Another disadvantage of charcoal spits is that you are unable to use them in closed spaces because they create a lot of heat and smoke a cigarette. If you plan to cook interiors, a gas spit makes much more sense. Nonetheless, with gas spits you have to make sure the enclosed area is well ventilated.

          Size Does Matter
Another important aspect of spit roast hire you must consider is the size of spit you need. What kind of meat are you planning to cook? A spit roast is a very versatile approach of cooking and everyissue from cow, venison, bull, goat and pig can be cooked on it. relying on the type of and amount of meat you want to cook, you have to choose an appropriately sized spit . For example if you wish to cook a full developed goat, you will need a spit that permits for 25kgs. Of course, the bigger the spit size you choose, the more expensive the affair will be. talking about spit roast hire, gas spits come in a restricted number of sizes whereas charcoal spits are obtainable in a greater selection of sizes.

Cost Of Charcoal v/s Gas Spit
One of the most important matters that you must keep in mind when heading in for spit roast hire, is the cost. You have to first figure out how much you can afford and how much you are willing to spend to hire a spit roast. A lot of people feel that charcoal spits are cheaper which in fact is not the case. Technically if you go to see, charcoal and gas spits cost pretty much the same if you take the total cost of cooking into consideration. The fee to hire a charcoal spit is much less than that of a gas spit but what you must take into consideration is the fact that charcoal spits require additional fuel whereas gas spits don’t.

So relying on whether you are having an indoor or outdoor party or if you want to be extravagant or minimalistic, put some time into research, figure out what you need and then go in for the right spit roast hire. Sunday October 1st, 2017 00:14 Brisbane Bond Cleaning – How to Get Your Bond Back

The scariest thing when it comes to moving at the end of your lease is the cleaning; in order to guarantee that you get your bond money back it is more sensible to hire a professional cleaner to do your dirty work. Sure, it might seem like you can do this yourself, but be careful enough not to under estimate the amount of hard work required. Just imagine where to begin with those never cleaned appliances all around the place, for example how would you clean a light fitting that is full of insects and most likely have never even been dusted. If you still hope that you can do this yourself, just hear this out and decide whether spending your weekend knee-deep in dust and grime is really worth it rather than hiring a professional to handle the situation.

Bond-cleaning-brisbaneIn most cases bond money is normally equivalent to a full month’s rent so it is worth cleaning for. And hiring a professional is not that much expensive if you think about it. A cleaning package including almost all the required services could be bought for a flat fee of $200-$300 on average. For example if you hire B’Bright cleaning service all the required services are available in a single package, that is bond clean, carpet clean and pest control at a very affordable price. But the reason why your choice must be B’Bright cleaning service goes beyond that. B’Bright ensures the quality of service by providing a 100% satisfaction bond back guarantee. That is after the cleaning if you are still going to lose your bond due to any cleaning issue that is covered by the service you bought from B’Bright, they’ll happily return and rectify the problem, ensuring that you get your bond money back. Of course, when the real estate agent learns that you have called B’Bright to handle the situation that will hopefully eliminate the likelihood of any nit-picking. So no worries there if you choose B’Bright!

B’Bright offers cleaning services for both domestic and commercial clients and it is one of the dominating competitors in the industry. And for your better comfort it is highly recommended by estate agents as your bond cleaning service provider. At B’Bright, the mission is to provide quality service at a cost effective price for their valued customers. B’Bright is there whenever you need the cleaning as it is open 365 days. You have to be careful when hiring someone to do your cleaning, because at the beginning the package might seem very affordable to mere eye, but when the bill comes at the end of service you can’t believe how it flew up so high! The wise choice here is to allow B’Bright take care of your cleaning needs because then you do not have to worry about these hidden surcharges, B’Bright certifies that the bill is hidden surcharges free. So don’t hesitate to make the choice, why should you get your hands dirty when the ideal professional cleaner is out there? Friday September 22nd, 2017 11:20 The 8 most common causes of lower back pain

The lower back is critical to our function as a human being. It provides structural support as well as enabling movement in all directions. The lower back is primarily responsible for forward and backward movements and also allows sideways bending and rotation. Another critical function of the lower back is to protect the tissues of the nervous system, spinal column as well as the organs of the pelvis and stomach. As such an essential aspect of our lives it is also susceptible to a number of injuries that cause us pain. The top 8 most common causes are outlined below.

            8. Bone Injuries
Fractures of the lumbar spine usually occur after a traumatic event such as a fall or motor vehicle accident. If the fracture is unstable, risk of damage to the spinal cord and permanent paralysis is extremely high. Patients are stabilised and immobilised for long periods. If the fracture is stable patients are treated with rest and pain relief. In some cases people with osteoporosis, or those taking medication such as cortisone long term, can be susceptible to fractures even with minimal stress on the spine. This may cause a crush fracture where the vertebrae loses some of its height. Pain can be severe and is often aggravated by movement.

            7. Congenital Inherited Conditions
Some of the common inherited conditions that cause lower back pain include scoliosis which is a sideways curve of the spine, sometimes caused when one leg is shorter than the other (functional scoliosis). You can also get structural scoliosis which is a fixed sideways curve often due to unknown factors, more common in women. Another common congenital cause of lower back pain is a forward slip of the lower lumbar vertebrae on top of the sacrum. This is referred to as spondylolisthesis, which in some cases can be associated with fractures of the joining bones in the vertebrae and is known as a pars defect.

            6. Bone Encroachment
Sometimes when the bony canal of the spinal cord and the spaces that the nerves exit can be narrowed by bone spurs or other soft tissues. This can cause sciatic pain which radiates down the leg. Often pain from narrowing of the spinal canal gets worse with walking and improves with rest.

            5. Arthritis
Arthritic changes and inflammation can affect the lumbar vertebrae as well as sciatic joints and can commonly cause lower back pain and stiffness, which is often worse in the morning. Degeneration can also affect the disc and is known as sponydolosis. This shows up on x-rays as narrowing of the lumbar disc joint space.

            4. Lumbar Radiculopathy – Damage to a Disc
When the disc is injured or weakens over time the outer rim can bulge or rupture (herniate), putting pressure on the spinal cord and/or the nerves exiting the bones. This can produce both local low back pain as well as sciatica characterised by pain down the leg. It can also be associated with pins and needles, numbness and weakness. In more serious cases, patients may experience problems with bladder and bowel function. They should seek medical attention immediately.

            3. Nerve Irritation
The nerves exiting the bones of the lower back can be irritated by pressure from bone, soft tissue, as well as inflammation. Pain can be both local, as well as radiating down the leg.

            2. Tendon and Ligament Strains
The soft tissues supporting and connecting the bones of the lower back can be stretched or injured in a number of ways. Commonly there is some sort of microscopic tear of varying degree which is often caused by an acute injury or overuse.

            1. Muscle Strain
The most common form of lower back pain is of muscular origin. Muscle pain can be brought on by poor posture, overuse, improper use, sustained positions and even trauma. It is so common because not only is it the primary cause of most lower back pain, it is a significant component of all the other causes of lower back pain. This is because with arthritic changes, structural changes, such as curvature of the lower back, disc disease or even ruptures will all sensitise the muscles. This is why it is essential to understand muscle pain specifically, to learn strategies for prevention as well as self-management long term.

Sunday September 17th, 2017 10:59 Why Consider Vinyl Wall Cladding ?

Vinyl wall Cladding is a popular choice when it comes to homes, particularly because there are so many vinyl cladding colors from which to choose. The extensive palette of 13 colours will suit almost any décor or style of home and give it a modern appeal. Some cladding colours are bold and modern, others can make your home look authentically original with heritage designs that mimic old-style timber weatherboard, which means that you can give your home a totally new distinctive look, or simply restore some of its old charm.

The extremely competitive prices of installing vinyl cladding to your home exterior is another reason for the growing popularity, wether your looking to encapsulate asbestos fibro sheeting or flaking lead paint on older weatherboards. Taking into account that paint fades over time, leaving you no other option but to repaint quite often, where vinyl cladding is fade resistant, requiring less maintenance on your part and provides an overall better look for your home. No matter what your budget is, less expensive, yet durable, vinyl cladding is an excellent choice if you are considering changing the exterior appeal of your home. Even monumental homes have succumbed to its convenience since it can perfectly replicate real wood paneling in different horizontal and vertical styles. Our manufacturers even offer a range of decorative wide architraves including door and window surrounds and shutters.

Vinyl House Cladding is constructed out of a PVC plastic resin, which makes it remarkably strong. Unlike metal or aluminum, it won’t rust, conduct electricity, or dent even if a cricket ball hits it, the boards simply bounce back. And unlike wood, it won’t warp, rot, or chip. It also holds up remarkably against the elements since it’s rain, extreme UV, and wind resistant. It won’t wear down in the harsh Queensland environment or become affected by cold weather. In fact, it’s so long-lasting it will retain its physical qualities for up to 50 years and comes with a manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee. However, the real benefit of the material is its competitive price, it’s one of the best value materials around proving a real investment and unlike fibro or wood, vinyl Cladding installation is quick, easy, and undemanding, which also helps to reduce the overall price of the product.

But what will you have to do to keep it in good shape? Oddly enough, not much. It won’t attract termites or pests. If you hire the right people for the initial vinyl Cladding installation, it can act as a great insulator to protect your home against extreme temperatures (saving you additional money on energy bills). Also, you’ll never have to paint again. Since the entire product is cast in a certain color, the shade goes all the way through the material. Therefore, it’ll never peel, flake, or scratch like painted surfaces. Not only does this save you on aggravation and sore muscles, it will also save you from hiring a painter every few years. You can save money, time and hassle over a lifetime with this simple switch. So put it on your home improvement to-do list, and enjoy the style and comfort that a home with vinyl cladding provides.
